A new study recently found that a common household item can be extremely dangerous, in fact deadly. In two recent instances, bathubs have actually cased death.

Agamemnon was strangled and murdered by his wife Clytemnestra in his bathub, and King Equitan was scalded to death in a bathub running from his seneschal. He was caught in an evil trap while the seneschal remained safe and sound, as did Clytemnestra.
